Eucharistic
The Holy Eucharist is the “Source and Summit” of our faith. Everything on the Shrine grounds leads to the Main Church. The Monstrance within the Main Church contains the consecrated Host, which is the precious Body of Christ, solemnly exposed for adoration. The Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration keep constant adoration in their private Chapel day and night.

Franciscan
Franciscan devotion is expressed in the art and spirituality of the Shrine – in particular in the architecture of the Main Church which resembles the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi, Italy. Adjoining the Church is Our Lady of the Angels Monastery where the Poor Clare Nuns live a cloistered life of prayer, thanksgiving, and sacrifice according to the model of St. Clare. The Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word, consecrated religious brothers and priests, provide the Sacraments here at the Shrine.

Pilgrimage
A pilgrimage is a spiritual journey to a sacred place that a person makes with the hope of encountering the Divine. Christian pilgrimages began to sites associated with Christs’ life, death and resurrection, soon after His ascension. This tradition soon spread to include other holy places throughout the world. Since the day our doors opened in 1999 to the present, people have come here from all over the world to encounter Jesus in the Most Holy Eucharist and to renew their souls. A pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament is a true encounter with the Living God. We welcome individuals, families and groups who are interested in planning a pilgrimage here to this place of grace.
